FasCat Friends:

In business, life & in cycling it helps to have friends. FasCat Coaching would be no where near where it is today without the help and expertise of the fine friends below.

Boulder Center for Sports Medicine:

These are the goto guys for an anatomically correct bike fit especially one taking an injury into consideration. Cyclists fly to Boulder from all over the world for bike fits with Dr. Andy Pruitt, Ed.D. , P.A. and we are fortunate enough to have him in our backyard. While you are there, the BCSM offers state of the art physiological testing with scientific grade equipment. Tell Neal & Andy I sent you!

ClearPixelDesign:

What can I say, BJ created a wonderful affordable website for me. I even hear he will be racing triathlons this year! Check out his company's portfolio and drop him a line for any of your web needs here

CyclingPeaks Software:

I don't have a formal business relationship with the owners, but I use this package everyday. It is the Bomb! Hunter and Andy have revolutionized the way we can training and coach with power.

John Verheul

A fellow coach and water cooler email friend, JV is a coach's coach. He's done his due diligence on many complicated subjects, and when I need a first or second opinion, JV is a fantastic resource for my coaching questions. He's also the CX coach for the TIAA-CREF team.

Power Based Impulse-Response Model

Kristen Dieffenbach, Ph. D.:

Kristen brings a one of a kind skill set into the cycling world: she's an elite level cycling coach with a Ph. D in exercise science & sports psychology. Plus she's a member of USA Cycling's coaches education committee and serves as a Sports Psychologist for the United States Olympic Team.

The more I coach the more I wish I had a degree in Sports Psychology. When I get in over my head, Kristen is the first person I turn too.

PEZCycling News:

I promoted my coaching business for three years by writing monthly training tips for PEZ. Although I don't write for them anymore, I still visit them regularly. You can still read all my articles archived in their Training page.

Priority Health Professional Cycling Team:

In 2006 & 2007, I coached the Priority Health boys. You may recognize their roster as the current Bissel team for 2008. I coach a number of the riders individually and when I'm at the bigger races I help out the staff and riders in a variety of ways. Keep your eyes peeled in the results as they are sure to surprise Toyota-United and the Health Net teams.

Retul:

Todd Carver (formerly of BCSM) has launched his own 3D motion capture fit company with an excellent application for bike fitting. I've sat in on many of Todd's fits and there is nothing more precise than a retul bike fit!

Vecchio's:

I've known Sean & Peter since I had Grip Shifters on an old Italian steel frame that I cannot even remember the name of! These guys are as passionate about wrenching on bicycles as I am about coaching. Peter even has a tattoo to prove it. They service their wheels for life and pride themselves on their craftsmanship. When you are in Boulder and need help check 'em out!

VeloNews:

They have their office down the bike path from me but a readership throughout North American and beyond. I am fortunate enough to know a few of these fine folks. They even invite me to their lunch rides and let me write a training tip or two.
