Jeremy Powers, Top US Cyclocross Racer
Jeremy is a professional cyclocross rider who rides for Rapha-Focus and a professional road rider who rides for the Jelly Belly presented by Kenda Cycling Team. Jeremy is one of the most exciting bike racers in the United States, winning races with a unique mix of power and flair. On the cyclocross bike, Powers is best known for his explosive starts (Jeremy got the holeshot a World Cup in January), wire-to-wire victories, and an uncanny ability to hop cyclocross barriers. Jeremy has found an ideal mix of power and skill, thanks in no small part to years of practice.
Jeremy Powers was America's most successful cyclocross rider in the 2010-2011 season. Powers took home the overall titles in the US Gran Prix of Cyclocross and the North American Cyclocross Trophy en route to finishing the year at number one on the USA Cycling Cyclocross Rankings. Powers also finished as the top ranked American rider on the UCI Cyclocross rankings, finishing at 15th. On top of his two series titles, Jeremy collected ten UCI ranked victories, four each in the USGP and NACT series. Possibly his
biggest win of the year came in a two-up sprint against then-teammate Tim Johnson on the final day of the USGP in Portland, Oregon.
