FasCat Tour of California Training Camp
February 18 – 25th
What: An invite only training & coaching camp for current FasCat athletes, their teammates and friends. This will be a week long fun, performance oriented, pre-season training camp perfectly timed before your season.
- Friday February 20th we will watch the stage 7 Solvang Time Trial in the 2009 Tour of California
Where: Los, Olivos, CA in a team house for the week
When: February 18th – 25th
Why: This is the same valley that Lance Armstrong and the Postal team brought into the limelight with their famous pre-season training camps. The riding and training in the Santa Ynez valley is some of the best in the US with endless country roads, warm weather, and all types of terrain to choose from.
Tentative Training Schedule/Rides:
Sunday: 3-4 hour ride w/ optional Drum Canyon Field Test
Monday: 2 – 4 hour ride, in the valley
Tuesday: 3 – 5 hours in the Valley the legendary Mount Figueroa
Wednesday: 3 – 4 hours Drum Canyon
Thursday: 2 - 5 hours on the flat with climbs of our choice
Friday: early morning ride, Stage 5 ToC: Solvang Time Trial
Details: $1,800 for FasCats, $2,200 for non FasCats w/ $500 down deposit by January 10th
Cost includes the following:
• Transportation to & from airport
• Lodging in FasCat Team house
• 5 days hands on, one on one coaching power file analysis & training plan design
• 5 guided rides by yours truly
• Camp add ons like Retul bike fit, mechanic & soigneur to be determined
Suggested Flight Itinerary:
Saturday: February 18th, arrive Santa Barbara airport, early afternoon
Saturday: February 25th, depart Santa Barbara airport, afternoon
