Level 3 with Frank Overton
How does the Level 3 program work?
I design your training program from scratch every four weeks. I start with your FasCat Questionnaire, and an initial conversation (and ongoing dialogue) about what you’d like to achieve. If you have any previous power data, I’ll go thru that with a fine tooth comb. Then we’ll proceed with a wattage based Field Test to determine your power at threshold and begin your power based training.
Day to day I monitor your training thru your power files and feedback. I use a variety of power based metrics to constantly adjust your training calendar so it’s “just right”. I encourage all my athletes to call at least once a week to discuss the finer points of their training and racing. Expect to hear from me frequently as well.
An SRM or Powertap is required. If you have one great, if not please visit the FasCat Performance Store for deals on SRM and Powertap systems. A powermeter enhances the coach-athlete relationship and we'll use it to measure your training load, review comparative power outputs and utilize TSS for power based performance modeling. All these tools will ultimately lead to your best performances to date.
